Want more grammar practice?
You will have noticed that the multiple choice portion of the test has a significant focus on spelling and grammar skills.
If you would like to get some extra practice with these important skills, we can turn to our friends at Georgetown High for their on-line grammar workshop.
See http://gdhswritingworkshop.weebly.com/grammar.html
to get some additional practice!

Practice Test Results -- Now what?
You will receive your results from the practice test in your period 1 class.
Please know that we have no way to predict whether you will pass this test -- the results from the practice test are intended to provide you with feedback and next steps.
The multiple choice score is out of 46. You need 75% to pass, meaning that ideally, your score should be at least 35. Of course, since your written work is also scored on the test, it will affect what your overall mark of 400 will be.
The booklets are colour-coded according to the following:
RED -- it is strongly suggested that you get extra help on this writing task
ORANGE -- please look at the feedback required and get extra help if required
GREEN -- everything looks good...keep it up!
